About:
The Scorpions Volleyball Club was formed to give the youth of Cambridge and surrounding are a chance to learn volleyball in an affordable, fun and safe environment. Since forming in August 2010, the Scorpions Club has grown to over 350 registrants in our beach and indoor programs.
In the summer of 2012 we will be offiering the largest summer youth Beach Volleyball program in Ontario. We ae also running a beach and indoor camp. We will also have 24 teams (duos) entered into the OVA Ontario Summer Beach Volleyball Competitive Tour.
In the fall 2012 we will offer SPIKES 1 and 2 Ontario Volleyball Association Learn to Play Programs and Monsters (for those born 2003,2004). In the winter we offer two house league programs, one develomental for grades 5,6 and one for grades 7,8.9. We will also have our competitive teams playing in the OVA Tournaments.
We use Ontario Volleyball Association and Volleyball Canada approved training materials and coaching courses. All our adult volunteers are trained in delivering our SPIKES program and also must submit a Police Screening Check for working with young childen.
