No experience necessary. No partner required. All ages welcome!
Scottish Country Dancing is a very sociable dance form. It is danced in sets of 3, 4, or 5 couples who work together to dance a pattern of formations to the distinctive sound of Scottish reels, jigs and strathspeys. It is a fun way to mix together exercise and friends. Our experienced teacher puts us through our paces while making the classes fun and enjoyable.
The Blair Scottish Country Dancers meet on Wednesday nights from September until April at the Trillium United Church (450 King St E) in Cambridge from 7:30 - 10:00 pm.
During the month of June, we gather to dance outside at Central Park (King Street at Argyle) every Wednesday (weather permitting) from 7:00 - 9:00 pm.
