Cambridge Physical Activity Charter

In 2009, leaders from a wide and varied cross-section of our community gathered together to write the "Charter of Physical Activity, Sport, Recreation, Play and Well-Being for all Citizens in Cambridge, Ontario, Canada".

Led by Andy Hourahine, the University of Waterloo, and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Ontario, the charter recognizes that the strength and success of Cambridge lies in the well-being of all members of its community.

This Charter aims to contribute to community building, to enhance the general well-being and to improve the quality of life of all Cambridge, Ontario as well as provide leverage and support to any group advocating for activity.
